Requirements for the Major

| Methods courses | 6 units selected from Anthropology 312, 348, 355, 360, 495, 505, 520, 531, 532, 546, 560–565 (483/499/583 with department consent) |
| Additional upper-division units | 12 units in anthropology |
| 500-level course | 3 units |
Minor in Anthropology
Minimum 18 units: 6 units (two courses) from Anthropology 101/102/103, plus 12 upper-division units in anthropology. A minimum of six upper-division units must be completed in residence at SDSU. See our FAQs about the minor.
